Glas Italia is committed to innovation via research, design, and cutting-edge technology, collaborating with globally acclaimed designers to bring their creative visions to reality. Piero Lissoni designed the company's 11,000-square-meter headquarters in Macherio, which opened in 2011. The architecture, which includes glass, cement, and steel, is intentionally constructed to maximize natural light dispersion in the workspace.
The headquarters have a remarkable visual impact, with a façade that leads into an "open-air" atrium filled with plants. A remarkable, self-supporting staircase made of steel and glass serves as the main point, leading to the upper stories and exemplifying Glas Italia's devotion to both efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
